  • Got Jenn to the airport on time, despite traffic
  • Got lost coming back from the airport… missed one of the on-ramps to Lucca and ended up on top of a mountain in Monte Serra and three dead-end roads. Bella is getting better at reading maps…
  • Finally got a photo of a sunflower field, along with a few thorny bits in my toes.

  • Three hours later, we made it to Lucca and bought two huge percoche at the grocery store. Also got some “rising agent for sweets” (baking powder) so now we can make Alisa’s peach cobbler!percoche.jpg
  • Giuseppe helped me tighten the gas hoses so my tanks don’t leak any more
  • Bella made oriecchiette for dinner!
